Open Positions

  • As a Social Media Director, you'll be responsible for creating engaging content and managing our online presence to promote the Neolaia’s events and initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create event promotional materials: Design digital flyers for our events each year.

    • Post regularly on Instagram: Use a mix of stories, posts, and Reels to promote events and share key information.

    • Ensure content compliance: All flyers and posts must be approved by the President and Executive Council before being published. You will also need to follow the Executive Council's guidelines, including rules around promotional language.

    This role requires a commitment to consistent social media engagement and a sharp eye for detail to ensure all content aligns with our brand and follows all necessary regulations.

  • The Membership and Outreach Director is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our members. This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, creative, and passionate about fostering a sense of community.

    Responsibilities

    • Membership Management: Accurately track and collect annual membership dues.

    • Member Engagement: Maintain communication with members through regular email updates, Instagram posts, and other channels. This includes sharing information about exclusive member benefits like event discounts and merchandise.

    • Relationship Building: Develop and implement new strategies to boost member involvement and enhance their experience. This can include creating new initiatives, planning exclusive events, or improving current offerings to keep members engaged and active in the community.

  • The Assistant Secretary works directly with the Secretary and assumes all responsibilities in their absence. Under the guidance of the Executive Council, the Assistant Secretary may also manage official correspondence.

    The Secretary's duties, which may be delegated to the Assistant Secretary as needed, include:

    • Managing all official correspondence.

    • Keeping records and tracking attendance.

    • Taking and reading the minutes at all meetings.

    • Assist the Membership and Outreach Director with membership records as needed.

    All correspondence must be signed by both the President and the Secretary.
